Mini Sharma, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Founding Member

Meet Mini – Mini is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a wealth of experience. She is trained to provide psychiatric assessments, evaluations, medication management, and psychotherapy to individuals grappling with a range of mental health conditions. With nearly two decades of nursing experience, she has worked with clients in various inpatient and outpatient settings and has also served as an adjunct professor, providing clinical instruction to undergraduate nursing students. Mini initially earned an Associate’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, followed by a Master’s in Nursing and earned board certification as a Psych NP.

Mini strongly believes in empowering people and working together to find inner strengths and resources to improve mental health. Her carefully crafted treatment plans are based on clinical prescriptive guidelines, evidence-based practice, clinical insight, and client-centered values, goals, and needs. She believes in the mind-body connection, and her holistic approach involves medication management only when absolutely necessary, along with psychoeducation, lifestyle modifications, and healthy coping skills. Mini’s multilingual abilities help her connect with a broader range of clients. Her dedication to the diverse population she serves is unwavering, and she is deeply committed to providing nonjudgmental and empathetic care to her clients. Codie Vassar, MD

Collaborative MD

Meet Dr. Codie – Dr. Codie Vassar is our board-certified collaborative psychiatrist. He provides oversight and guidance in Kerve Psychiatric Care. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned his medical degree, and completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. From 2007-2022, Dr. Vassar was a Wisconsin Army National Guard Medical Corps Officer. Dr. Vassar is Fluent in English and Spanish and is currently an outpatient psychiatrist at Aspirus Health, Wisconsin. Dr. Vassar holds multiple state licenses, including Massachusetts, and is licensed to provide care in the state.

Anna C. Naeva, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Covering Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Founder, Bliss Holistic Psychiatry

Meet Anna – Anna is an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Hanover, Massachusetts, and Providence, Rhode Island and helps late teens and adults on their wellness journey. She provides as-needed coverage for clients in Kerve Psychiatric Care. Before gaining experience in psychiatry, she worked to serve the needs of adolescents and adults in oncology at one of the most well-respected New England Hospitals. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and later earned a Master of Science in Psychiatric Nursing. Anna has also served as an adjunct professor and clinical preceptor for undergraduate and graduate nursing students. She is a passionate and multilingual nurse practitioner dedicated to taking on the leadership challenges of an evolving healthcare system through cross-cultural communication and welfare advocacy. Her experiences have focused on individual psychotherapy, outpatient psychiatry, holistic care, and interventional treatments such as transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and Spravato.

James Colello, RN

Office Manager & Registered Nurse

Meet James – James has dual roles at Kerve as office manager and our nurse. He is a registered nurse with over 17 years of experience. He earned his associate’s degree in nursing in New York from the College of Staten Island in 2007 and his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Western Governors University in 2020. His career has taken him to major healthcare institutions in New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts, where he has worked in various settings, including cardiology, neurology, and respiratory step-down units, medical-surgical units and operating rooms in Intraoperative Surgery where he currently works. He brings extensive experience and knowledge in leadership, having worked as a charge RN for many years in the most demanding and challenging healthcare environments. James is empathetic and kind, and one of his key strengths is his ability to work effectively with patients and family members from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, regardless of their diagnoses and struggles. In his free time, James enjoys spending time at home with his wife, exercising, cooking, and gardening.
